- The International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP)
- Málaga TechPark – the largest and one of the oldest technology parks in Europe
- The international exhibition and conference “Greencities, Urban Intelligence and Smart Mobility 2025” – the largest Europe–Latin America forum dedicated to local authorities, urban development and smart city solutions

The delegation and its programme are particularly relevant for:

Mayors, Deputy Mayors and Municipal Councillors
Municipal experts and professionals involved in territorial and urban development
Companies specialised in public utility and municipal services
Regional and Provincial Administrations
National public institutions (Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, Ministry of Environment and Water, and organisations involved in spatial planning and regional development)
Businesses involved in the management and development of business spaces, industrial zones, science parks and business parks

The Programme

The programme is designed to provide participants with first-hand insight into the experience of Portugal, and in particular the cities of Porto and Aveiro and the Coimbra Region, in developing innovation ecosystems, knowledge-based economic development and cooperation between local authorities, universities and business support organisations.

The role of local government as the principal authority responsible for territorial governance and development;
Promoting and strengthening the innovation value chain: University (research and knowledge) – business incubators – industrial and technology parks;
Regeneration, transformation and adaptive reuse of abandoned industrial sites and urban areas.
