Bulgaria Economic Forum Participated in NONA Capacity-Building Workshops

Bulgaria Economic Forum (BEF) took part in NONA Capacity-Building Workshops held online between 18 and 20 November 2025. The workshops brought together project partners and stakeholders to strengthen capacities in key areas essential for green and inclusive urban regeneration.

The three-day programme covered the following thematic labs:

• On 18 November, BEF participated in the Stakeholder Engagement & Governance Capacity-Building Lab, titled “Engagement by Design: Mapping & Mobilising Stakeholders for Inclusive Planning.” The session focused on enhancing partners’ skills in stakeholder mapping, multi-level governance, and participatory collaboration, supporting more inclusive and transparent urban planning processes.

  
  

• On 19 November, BEF joined the Communication Capacity-Building Lab, “Green Storytelling and Targeted Outreach for Inclusive Urban Revitalisation.” This workshop aimed at strengthening communication capacities through effective storytelling, targeted outreach, and tailored messaging to engage diverse audiences and promote sustainable urban transformation.

  
  

• On 20 November, BEF took part in the Finance Capacity-Building Lab, titled “Strategic Financing for Green and Inclusive Urban Transformation.” The session focused on improving partners’ ability to identify, combine, and leverage different financing sources—EU, national, and private—while building financial literacy and investment readiness for urban regeneration initiatives.
