BEF was awarded for Top Pitch presentation during SpinIT Meets Pécs Event

On 24 and 25 of June Bulgaria Economic Forum took part in the SpinIT Meets Pécs Event in Hungary.

The first day of SpinIT partner meeting was dedicated to reviewing project progress and exchanging experiences among partners from across the Danube Region.

One of the highlights of the day was the interactive workshop, focused on exchanging ideas, solving key challenges, and sharing best practices.

The partners visited KONTAKT-Elektro Kft. – a leading company from Pécs specializing in automation, robotics, and cutting-edge technologies, including hydrogen solutions.

The second day of the event started with interactive discussions in 4 different panels: Industry 4.0 in Developing Regions;  R&D Cooperation between Academia and Business; Green Transition & Regional Development; AI Applications – Challenges & Opportunities in the Region

The afternoon was dedicated to the Pilot Project Showcase. Here, the territorial partners presented their innovative pilot ideas, each rooted in local needs and shaped through months of collaboration and refinement.

After careful deliberation, the jury selected the TOP 3 presentations. Bulgaria Economic Forum took one of the awards for presenting the pilot project Telemedicine Education and Awareness Training.

The pilot projects will be tested across other Danube countries to validate their effectiveness and adaptability. The ultimate goal: to co-create sustainable, scalable curricula with long-term impact across the region.
