The SpinIT partners met in Sofia on 12-13 november 2025 for two energising days of knowledge exchange, practical demonstrations, and stronger collaboration across the Danube Region.

Presentation and discussions took place in the following topics:
Entrepreneurship & Young Innovators
FutureMinds workshops in Croatia and Bulgaria enhanced entrepreneurial competences among students and young professionals, proving that innovation can thrive in any field — including medical education.
AI & Digital Skills for SMEs
Partners from the Czech Republic and Bosnia and Herzegovina shared hands-on training in AI and cybersecurity, enabling SMEs to strengthen digital resilience and adopt modern tools safely and effectively.
Industry 4.0 & Smart Processes
Hungary and Serbia presented pilot activities focused on automation, robotics, and applied digital skills, supporting businesses at the early stages of their digital transformation journey.
Education, Leadership & Public Sector Cooperation
Croatia introduced a cross-sector traineeship programme that combines AI, leadership, and EU project development skills, while Romania showcased mentoring as a vital enabler for SME digitalisation.
Cybersecurity Awareness
Slovenia highlighted its CyberSafe pilot, responding to the increasing need for robust digital protection among individuals, companies, and universities.
The meeting concluded with a visit to Sofia Tech Park and a shared outlook toward the next steps: testing pilots across the Danube Region and preparing for the project’s final gathering in Prague.
