In mid-September, Bulgaria Economic Forum team visited Zenica Development Agency (ZEDA) for the SpinIT Live Event and another partner meeting on the SpinIT project, which is implemented within the Danube Region 2021-2027 program and is co-financed by the EU.
Zenica is located on the Bosna River in the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina, between the capital Sarajevo (70 km) and Banja Luka. Interestingly, there is only one traffic light in this metallurgical city, and it is at the city training ground.
On September 18th, partners gathered at the ZEDA offices to participate in a consortium capacity-building workshop. It was aimed at improving cooperation between partners and their skills concerning the upcoming development of local action plans and was followed by the SCOM meeting. The day's program included a tour of Zenica's business district and the old town of Vranduk, as well as a guided night tour of the city.
The following day, September 19, the SpinIT Conf conference was launched, focusing on knowledge and experience in the IT sector, Industry 4.0 and IT cross-sectoral cooperation.
The BEF team would like to thank the hosts from ZEDA for their warm hospitality and excellent organization. See you soon, friends!
